GOD is...

Only one true and living God exists. He is the almighty Creator of the universe, existing eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. His personal attributes are distinct without dividing His nature, essence, or being. Each is equally deserving of humanity’s worship and obedience. He is infinite and perfect in all of His attributes.

God the Father reigns with providential care over all created things and all of human history according to the purposes of His grace. He is all powerful, all loving, and all wise. > Genesis 1:1, 2:7; John 1:1-3; 1 Timothy 1:17

“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.” – Deuteronomy 6:4-5

JESUS is God and Savior

Jesus is both fully God and fully human. He is the eternal Christ, the Son of God. Born of a virgin, He perfectly revealed and accomplished the will of God and performed many miracles. He died on the cross to provide people forgiveness of sin and eternal salvation through faith in Him. Jesus rose from the dead, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return in power and glory.
Matthew 1:18-23John 1:1, 14; Romans 10:9-10; 1 Corinthians 15:20-28; 2 Corinthians 4:13-15; Colossians 1:15-20; Hebrews 4:15

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”John 14:6

The HOLY SPIRIT is God and Empowerer

The Holy Spirit is supernatural and sovereign, baptizing all believers into the body of Christ. He lives within every Christian beginning at the moment of salvation and then empowers them for bold witness and effective service as they yield to Him. He convicts individuals of sin, uses God’s Word to mature believers to become like Christ, and secures them until Christ returns. > Genesis 1:2Matthew 28:19Luke 24:49John 16:12-14Romans 8:9-111 Corinthians 12:1-13

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” – Acts 1:8

PEOPLE are God's Treasure

God created people in His image for His glory. They are the crowning work of His creation. Man was created innocent of sin but willfully disobeyed God – an act known as sin. As a result, All human beings are born with a sin nature and into an environment inclined toward sin. The just reward for sinful living is eternal separation from God. Only by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ can they experience the salvation they need. > Genesis 1:26-27Genesis 2-3Romans 3:23

“Then God said, “Let us make human beings  in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth,  and the small animals that scurry along the ground.” – Genesis 1:26

The BIBLE is God's Word

The Bible is God’s written revelation of Himself to mankind, divinely given through human authors who were inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is entirely true. The Bible is totally sufficient and completely authoritative for matters of life and faith. The Bible reveals the standards and principles by which all people will ultimately be judged. The goal of God’s Word is the restoration of humanity into His image through faith in Jesus Christ. > Deuteronomy 4:1-2Matthew 5:17-182 Peter 1:19-21

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” – 2 Timothy 3:16-17

SALVATION is by Grace through Faith

All human beings are born with a sin nature, separated from God, and in need of a divine Rescuer. Jesus’ death on the cross is the atoning sacrifice that enables sinful people to be reconciled to a holy and righteous God. This reconciliation is freely offered to all who turn away from sinful living and trust in Jesus Christ as their only hope of rescue. Salvation begins the moment a person receives the grace of Jesus Christ through faith. It is accomplished only by the grace of God through the power of the Holy Spirit on the basis of the shed blood of Jesus Christ and not by human effort. Salvation results in complete forgiveness and freedom from sin, and allows people to experience the full life God designed them to live in relationship with Him. All who have been rescued by Christ are secure in Him forever. > Genesis 3:15John 3:3-21John 14:6Romans 3:21-26Romans 6:232 Corinthians 5:21Ephesians 2:1-1018-22Revelation 3:20

“God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.  Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.” – Ephesians 2:8-9

The CHURCH is God's Plan

The Church is the people who are committed to following Jesus together and are empowered by His Spirit to accomplish His mission for His glory.  The Holy Spirit immediately places all people who put their faith in Jesus Christ into one united spiritual body, the Church, of which Christ is the head. The primary expression of the Church on earth is in autonomous local groups of baptized believers united in Spirit to accomplish God’s plan and purpose. The purpose of the Church is to glorify God by making disciples all over the world, baptizing them in the name of Jesus, teaching them to follow Him, and equipping them to use their spiritual gifts to minister to others. > Matthew 28:18-20Acts 2:41-44, 47Ephesians 2:19-22

“All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper ), and to prayer. A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders.  And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had.” – Acts 2:42-44

The FUTURE is in God's Hands

God will bring the world to its appropriate end in His own time and in His own way. True to His promise, Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly in glory to the earth. All people will be resurrected to be judged by Christ in righteousness. Those who have trusted in Christ will receive their reward and live forever in heaven with Him. Those who have not trusted in Christ will spend eternity separated from Him in hell, the place of everlasting punishment. > John 14:1-32 Corinthians 5:101 John 2:283:3Revelation 20:11-15

“And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment,  so also Christ was offered once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for him.” – Hebrews 9:27-28
